We built Road to AI to help founders like you. The last thing we'd do is use your ideas against you. Here's exactly how we protect what's yours.
Your Idea Is Yours
Everything you share in the wizard — your business idea, your plans, your market, your strategy — belongs entirely to you. When you tell us about your idea, you're not giving it to us. You're asking us to research it for you. That's it.
We don't claim any ownership, rights, or interest in your business idea. Not now, not ever.
Your Study Is Yours
The AI playbook we generate for you is your property. You can use it however you want — share it with investors, include it in a business plan, send it to your bank, discuss it with partners. There are no restrictions on how you use your study.
We don't keep a copy for ourselves to use. We don't repackage it. We don't sell it to anyone else. Your study sits in your account, and that's where it stays.
What We Don't Do
To be crystal clear, we will never:
- Share your idea or study with other users, companies, or anyone else
- Sell, license, or give away your business information
- Use your answers to build competing products or businesses
- Publish, display, or make your study available to anyone but you
- Use your data to train our own models or create derivative works
How We Handle Your Data
Your wizard answers and generated studies are stored securely on our servers so you can access them from your dashboard anytime. Here's how we treat that data:
Access
Only you can see your studies through your authenticated account. Our team does not read your studies or answers unless you contact support and explicitly ask us to.
Storage
Your data is stored on encrypted servers. Your study PDFs are private files that are only accessible through your signed, personal download links.
AI Providers
To generate your AI playbook, we send your wizard answers (not your name or email) to AI providers. Here's what you should know:
- We use commercial API plans where your data is not used for training
- We never share your personal information (name, email) with AI providers
- AI providers process your request and discard it — they don't store your business ideas
Deletion
Want everything gone? Just email us. We'll delete your account, your wizard answers, and your generated studies. Once deleted, it's gone — we don't keep backups of your data after a deletion request is fulfilled.
